A design for a placemat that was made to be both informative and fun to look at. It shows the various buildings of Moscow, Russia, as well as an introductory paragraph for the viewer to read while eating. The borders of the placemat were made with a traditional Russian-style pattern found on traditional blankets and garments. Colors of the Russian flag are used where the map is showcasing the various well-known landmarks of the region. Each of the buildings were drawn in Adobe Illustrator to be both detailed, yet simple to look at.
